Very pleased. !st thing is when pouring water from the carafe in to the coffee maker I do not spill 1 drop. A big improvement over my old unit. The 14 cup capacity is perfect for me, I now only need to make 1 pot of coffee a day. With my old 12 cup coffee maker 1 pot was just shy of what I want to drink daily. The clock is now readable with the blue light in the background. My wife said she didn't realize the old 12 cup maker even had a clock. The heat control and the new Bold feature makes this the perfect coffee maker for our use.

I had the older version lasted 2 years as the hinges for the top broke. They have improved the design to all easier access to add the water.

It works great. Easy to use. Looks well-made. Affordable. This is a conditional review. We just got it. Only concern is there is no way to turn off the screen when it's still plugged in. We don't need a clock. We like to conserve energy. There was a report some years ago that "standby" lights consume 5% of the world's energy. That's huge for something we can get along without, IMO.
