We recently remodeled my kitchen and used all Black Stainless appliances.So, I purchased it in black stainless.
Love having 14 cups, Love “Bold” feature and being able to have my coffee ready when I wake up by programming it the night before. So easy to use, it’s beautiful! Delicious coffee!

Not as hot as my old unit with the toggle switch

I've owned this unit for several months now and like the redesign. I only have one complaint My coffee doesn't stay as hot as the old Cuisinart unit I replaced I have the temperature selection turned to high but unfortunately it doesn't stay as hot as my old unit did.

I've only had this brewer about 3 weeks but so far so good. It does make good coffee. I did not buy an extended replacement warranty as I am hoping it will be another great Cuisinart product. The only reason I have not given it a five star rating is that it produces a lot of steam but this may be normal.
The way the lid is made the water from the steam stays around the sides and top inside so when you lift the top water drips down the back. This may be something that needs a design change. Since most coffee makers have something that doesn't work after a while, I'm hoping this will at least keep making coffee for 3 yrs like my last Cuisinart. My last one the cleaning light would not go off, and it would stop and then start again, but I used it everyday and it would die and come back to life.

After owning just about every major brand drip coffeemaker over the years, I finally bought into the "perfect temp" hype and was not disappointed. Brewed coffee was steaming hot with great taste compared to other brands. Easy to set up and control various functions. Have many other Cuisinart kitchen appliances so now I can add this one to the list of "should have bought sooner"!

Honestly, I just use the stronger brew feature, don't even set the clock. But, it makes the best coffee I've drank from a coffeemaker. I like the gold filter, I use quality coffee, and the brew from this is great.
