It makes 14 cups. You can adjust temperature, set it for bold flavor, program it to start the next day and you can turn off the setting to let you know coffee is done. I have a few cruisinart small appliances and LOVE each and everyone of them.

I liked my first model which was a forerunner of this model The improvements include a water window to guage how much is in the coffeemaker along with the elimination of water dripping down the back. Liked the first one and like this one better.

We have had many coffee makers and this is about the best so far. Once in a while, it loses the "alarm" informing that the brew has been completed, but one only has to unplug the machine for a few seconds and plug it, and it goes back to normal.
