I have had this coffee maker for quite some time now and love it. I never realized how much better coffee could taste! I use it every day and it is reliable. I always set it up the night before and my coffee is ready when I get up. I like that it has a temperature control for the element below but I keep it on the lowest one.
I have been through many of the cheaper brands and they usually burn out in a year or two. I think my Cuisinart will last a good long time.

I do not like it. My former Cuisinart coffee maker was a Thermal but it began to malfunction so I bought the 14 cup model.
