I don't use the programmable part of this coffeemaker but use it daily to make coffee that is outstanding. In our 64 years of marriage we Have never had a coffee maker that made coffee this good.

I have wanted a 14 cup coffeemaker for a long time, finally did it. We love this machine. There is a control for the warmer plate, which if you choose, will keep the coffee hot. There is also a 'Bold' button if you like richer, bolder coffee. Not to mention, there is now enough coffee for my husband and I without fighting for the last few drops.

I am very pleased with this new coffee pot. The coffee it makes is delicious and you can set it up to produce your coffee at your time you plan to awaken. There is a series of five beeps to let you know that the coffee is ready.
