I have been using this and it holds battery life for a good couple hours. I highly recommend not useing disposable because you will burn a while through your pocket if so. But my issue is the voice never works. And now I have 2 pairs we both ne and my son can't use.

Have this headlamp for a couple weeks now and it has become my #1 headlamp. The voice control works flawlessly! No more pushing buttons to adjust the lamp.

Love this headlamp. It is very bright and different settings of brightness. I love the fact that I can change the brightness when my hands are dirty with the voice control.

You won’t realize how convenient voice control is until you try this headlamp! It’s great not having to fumble with buttons, especially when your hands are dirty. I mainly use mine to clean my car in my dimly lit apartment garage, and it’s made a huge difference. Just learn a few voice commands, and you’re set. My only gripe is that the flood mode beam isn’t as wide as I expected for close-range illumination. That said, the brightness is more than adequate, and the fact that it’s rechargeable is a game changer!

I already own several Coast products, and am impressed with them. I had to send one back that didn’t work right, and was amazed at how quickly they replaced it. The RL35R is my latest purchase, and again, I am amazed. I have “played” with it a lot, and it has yet to miss or misunderstand my voice command. Incredible technology at work in this light. Simply put, I love it. I have another brand of headlamp that you wave you hand to turn it on and off. Bend your head next to a nearby object, and the light either comes on or off. I found it annoying. This light does what it was designed to do, and I have not found a flaw yet.
