A Great Find

Somehow I lost my 10 year old faithful COAST flashlight, so I replaced it with a new GX20 and love it. The small size fits in my pocket and takes easy-to-find "triple A" batteries. My work can continue (under a brighter field of light). Thanks - good job.

I use this flashlight as my main for nighttime towing. It works really well however, I will say the multi-level brightness is annoying. I just click it on and off. It does work well. however the half press doesn't really work. I will keep using it though.

Lightweight and bright

Have had this light for around six months now and I find it very useful. I keep it in my truck and it doesn't take up much space; however, whenever I need it it is super bright for roadside use. I have also used it when working on vehicles and it is perfect for that because of how bright it is, its lightweight, and the battery life. I would definitely recommend this flashlight to anyone that wants a cheaper light to keep in any vehicle or to leave somewhere for emergencies.

My work starts very early, long before the sun rises. I have two small dogs I must walk outside before leaving home. I purchased the GX20 for this purpose. It performs so well, I bought 5 more for vehicles and tool boxes. It is small, easy to operate, being of polymer construction, it is very light. It will fully light a room, find your dogs in the dark, and could temporarily blind an intruder if needed for defense. It is an excellent value for all the jobs it does!

Despite the price and lumen output, this wasn't worth the purchase. First off, the high lumen output is due to "Turbo" mode, which only lasts for 40 seconds before switching to Medium. Worst of all, there is no memory function or control switch to keep the light on a chosen mode - the user has to half-press the rear button every time if they want to use any settings other than Medium. For home security, and just general usage, this is annoying and even unsafe, because it adds time and uses up night vision fumbling around trying to find the desired mode. I immediately replaced this with a different light that defaults to the highest setting—and, importantly, *stays* on the highest setting. I knew it would be a "budget" light for the price, but the restrictive interface was disappointing. I'm looking elsewhere for my lights now.
