I love the slayer flashlight. It had an issue however. Coast was super excellent in processing a very fast and painless warranty claim for me. Great flashlight is very comfortable and the options for brightness is amazing but only 4 star because the dust cover for the charging port fell off the first day I received it and I have to clean out the charging port every time I need to charge because I work around a lot of grease, oil, and other contaminates

To be clear, I am not a fan of this form factor, but full disclosure, I am a Coast fan boy. I’ve been a Coast user for well more than 10 years and I am a flashlight fanatic. I literally collect flashlights from all brands. Back to the matter at hand. Two things, the build quality is incredible, and the fact that Coast managed to integrate their “trademark” zooming light or spot/flood lights in such a small form factor is very impressive. I cannot say that I became a fan of the “wedge” flashlights category, but compared to the Streamlight Wedge that I owned for more than a year, I will take the Slayer any time for any scenario.
