Interesting having a square design

It was interesting having a squared design flashlight. I wasn't sure how I would like it. It's a really cool design for EDC and keeps a great charge so far. I like the power levels, turbo level, and definitely the programable extra power button. For me, it will still be an EDC, but some not so great things.

Awesome pen light alternative

I’m a pen light junkie. My go to is the HP3R. That light has taken a beating and has stood the test of time. However, I really like this slayer light for a couple of reasons. The shape is like a pocket knife and since I slip it in my front pocket like one, it’s very natural to reclip it in my pocket. The other big bonuses are the memory button for recalling the last beam and the light intensity with range of beam choices. I think it’s easier than constant focusing I use on my other lights.
I used it for the week and definitely would give it the thumbs up. I use my pen light daily and often enough to deplete the charge on them within that day. If the battery goes flat before my day ends, I’m not going to give it a green light or recommend it. This one runs very strong throughout the day and so far been awesome!
Would love to know others thoughts about the shape. I personally have begun to like it.

Possibly the best light Coast has made!

I have been using this light for work for the past 3 weeks and I don't care if I use any of my other Flashlights again after finding this one! I am a heavy equipment technician so this light has already been through a lot- pressure washing, oil spills, weld spatter, etc.
First off I'll say my most recent edc light was a coast HP3R, which is a great light but is usually either too bright or too dim and I can't even make through a work day on 1 charge. Using the slayer the same amount as the HP3R, the slayer lasted for a full week of work. Having so many brightness and beam options is what makes this light so incredible for me, being able to switch between low flood and the spotlight for different Jobs means I can leave the other big lights in the toolbox.
This light fits great in pants or shirt pockets, is super low profile but still easy to hold onto with greasy hands thanks to the molded style grip. Charging port cover seals well and the pocket clip does not snag too easily. The second button for setting a favorite beam is what really makes this light user friendly so your not constantly clicking through to find the right setting.

I have researched other "wedge" style Flashlights and the specs on this one are way better than the competition as far as run time and light modes. Coast has really knocked it out of the park with this one. If you are a mechanic, farmer, or work in any other tough environment, just BUY this light you will not be disappointed!

Going on a week of very rigorous use nightly, I am absolutely amazed at the battery life, the brightness, and the beam throw this thing packs. The slim design fits perfect in your pocket without being bulky, pocket clip is stout and doesn't feel like its going to fail like other brands, also from a security and defense standpoint it fits perfectly in a closed fist.

I got the Coast Slayer flashlight a week ago and I have been using it almost every day. It is a very handy and versatile flashlight that has two different beams: a flood and a spot. The flood beam is good for lighting up a large area, like when I walk my dog at night or when I need to check something under the hood of my car. The spot beam is useful for zooming in on a specific point, like when I need to read a sign or find something in the dark. The flashlight is very bright, especially on turbo mode, which can reach up to 1150 lumens. However, I usually use the lower modes to save battery life, which is also very good. The flashlight can run up to 11 hours on low mode, and it can be recharged quickly with a USB-C cable. The flashlight is also very durable and weatherproof, so I don’t have to worry about dropping it or getting it wet. The flashlight has a unique shape that fits well in my hand and pocket. It also has a metal clip that I can attach to my belt or backpack. The flashlight is made of solid aluminum and has a nice silver color. The flashlight also comes with a lifetime warranty from Coast, which shows their confidence in their product.
The Coast Slayer flashlight is one of my favorite EDC flashlights. It has everything I need in a flashlight: power, versatility, convenience, and durability. It is great for any situation that requires a reliable light source. I think it is worth the price and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality multi beam flashlight.

This light has awesome features that makes this light top of the line. Along with the great features as the second button saves the beam that you want. and the first button has four beams of light! The case is aluminum. Awesome product for any techs!
