Very much enjoying this unit. I think it could only be improved by having a laser pointer version since it's compact size and USB c rechargable battery. Great home and EDC, Highly recommend.

This light will be pretty good for inspections a quick look around or an EDC. There are a couple things I could recommend to make it slightly better and worth the regular retail verse finding a sale. Add a laser pointer thats actually good for a distance. Add a detachable magnetic clip.

I bought two of these lights so far. I like the way it works and the amount of light it puts out. It could be used as an everyday carry or a non disturbing light in situations where bright light would be disturbing. The five different modes of light rage from a mild flood to a 1100 lumin spot light.
Easy to carry in a pocket, feels just right in your hands this light is a winner.

Love the beam and memory - Hate the pocket clip!

Great Light, I purchased this particular light because my old headlamp was not cutting it getting into my tree stands this year. A headlamp is often really helpful but the spread of light and more scattered "flood light" is only helpful to a certain distance and I really needed something with a narrow beam that could reach 100 yard distances and check trees for straightness, limbs, and stands in pitch dark woods before sunup. The Slayer was my choice because it is small, rechargable, and has excellent beam capabilities.
This trip we were also camping so having the low light floodlight (moonlight setting) was very useful for night trips to the bathroom or building a fire in the dark, or getting things from my vehicle without blinding neighbors.
All in all, in terms of usefulness I want to give it a full 100% rating, but I cant because of the reason below = 8/10 overall function because a lost light is no light at all
Speaking of light though, 10/10 on that and the buttons/interface is also 10/10 its much more versatile than a comparable streamlight with the Slayer's 2 different beam patterns.
*favorite feature was the memory button to keep your preferred light on tap during different situations*
However my recommendation (like others) would be a better pocket clip!!! I would hate to lose this nice, expensive light trudging through the woods and this clip is really bad and thin and flimsy compared to other lights I own and pocket knife clips 1/10 for retention!

It would fall out of my right side carpenter pant pocket (the one near the side of your knee/quad area) just sitting in the car or treestand and moving to a normal pocket or back pocket does not help - PLEASE redesign the clip and send me a better one asap so I dont lose this thing. I tried leaving it in my pocket after climbing up into my stands but I had to either lay it next to me or stow it in my pack so not good for pockets!

Great Flashlight

I’ve had this flashlight for over a month now and it is the best pocket light I’ve ever owned! Everything about this light is awesome. The battery last forever, and when it does die it recharges SUPER quick. The light output on this thing is crazy for its size. I’ve dropped it several times with no issues. Easy to carry and holds in the hand even better. If you’re looking for a new light to carry everyday look no further and buy this today!

More comfortable in Pocket than the PX1

In my pocket, I don't even know it's there. For years I've been carrying the PX1, which tends to wear a hole in the pocket. Time will tell for the Slayer, good multipurpose light.
