I have used this a couple times in it warms things up perfectly. Never overheats and always seems to be at the right temperature. If I had one criticism it would be that the plastic top that goes on the metal crock is not tight enough for transport. You have to secure it when transporting so things don't leak out in your bag. But I like the convenience of leaving the warmer at work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like having my own hot meal ready at my desk. No need to touch the germy microwave or fridge. easy to clean up and great to leave the heating element at work and just take the container back home for washing and refill. Small enough that others do not notice. Food is HOT not warm. It doesn't take long either.

Best thing ever!! I leave the outer shell at work and bring the crock home. I put leftover dinner or soup in it for lunch. Plug it up a few minutes before my lunch break and my food is warm and ready to be eaten. I don’t have to waite my turn to use the microwaves in the lounge. When you only get 30 minutes for lunch, you don’t want to waste 10 minutes for a microwave to free up because other staff is using it heat up their lunch. Best Buy. Money well spent :)

I purchased 3 of them and am so glad that I did. It works great. I will usually put it to heat my meal 45 minutes to an hour before I want to eat and it is hot by the time I want to eat. It is perfect, now I want to get extra inserts so that I can prepare my meals for the week and just keep it in the refridgerator.
