I bought this item about a month ago but haven’t used it a lot yet. One lunch I did take in it was mashed potatoes, gravy, and roast beef. My lunch crockpot was plugged in around 8:30 and my food was nice and hot by lunchtime.

use it for melting candy coating

I bought 3 of these little beauties to melt my candy melts and chocolate as I make cakepops and chocolate covered strawberries for bake sales at our VFW. They are great, they melt the chocolate and candy melts nice and slow and keeps them at just the right temp. Love the pop in lid it makes for easy storage of my melted chocolate for the next week.

This is perfect for my husband's lunches. He is very busy at work and in the past he would pop something into the microwave, get distracted by a phone call, customer, etc and forget about his lunch. He would end up microwaving repeatedly. Now,we fill this little crock pot with left overs or soup, he plugs it in and its ready when he is. And it is the perfect temperature and texture. Never burns or dries out. Perfect! We have used this almost every day since our purchase. He brings home the inner liner to be cleaned and refilled, leaving the outer part of crock pot at work. Pleased with our purchase. This would also make a great gift.
