I am using it for the first time as I write this!! So easy to use. I put my cold food in the easy to remove inner sleeve at night. The next morning I put the insert into the actual crockpot and put the lid on. Plug it in as soon as I got to work. The hot soup on a cold winter day is perfect. So glad I purchased this!!!!

The mini crock pot is great for warming food and keeping it warm. It does not cook food. The plastic lid that goes directly on the pot does not fit properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought three of these. One for me, one for my husband, and another for my sister who is a school teacher. I have used mine several times and it is wonderful! I plug it in around 10am and then go on about my work. Whenever I’m ready for lunch, 11:30, 12, or 12:30, it’s always the perfect temp! I love that it does not over cook the food and only warms my lunch at the perfect temp. So far I have eaten taco soup, red beans and rice, chili, and chicken pot pie. All were perfect! I would recommend adding water to a dish with rice because the rice absorbed all the liquid in my red beans. That was my fault. I can’t wait to hear how much my sister uses hers at school! I also like that the food crock is removable and has a lid. That’s nice so I can prepare the crock the night before and leave the base in my car or at work.

Such a great alternative to microwaving your lunch

I bought this a few weeks ago and love it so much. It's such a great alternative to waiting in the microwave line at lunch time. It keeps your food warm and doesn't dry it out while heating.
