I use this in already tilled garden Works really good for cultivating and getting weeds out don’t know how good it would work if the ground hasn’t been broke yet

Easily does the work of a good 2-stroke cultivator but without the headaches. It's always ready to go work and 2ah 80v battery has plenty of ooomph to quietly make easy work of my flower beds and 20ft x 20ft garden bed. Over the past couple of years i have switched out most of my yardwork equipment, leaf blowers, edger, weed wacker, chainsaw, hedger etc to 80v Greenworks and am very impressed with their performance !!

I bought this cultivator to reseed my yard. This tool is amazing, I couldn't believe what I did with it in three hours. It is powerful. For those who need a motorized cultivator for their yard, this is the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It feels like a toy. It wouldn’t even get through grass. Tried it on soil that was already turned and no luck there, either
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello juliamcnzi We are sorry to hear the Cultivator has not met your needs. A cultivator can be used to break up garden soil and prepare a seedbed for planting. A cultivator will help break up clumps and create a fine loose soil for planting seeds and seedlings. It will break up weeds and aerate the soil. Too much or too deep cultivation can actually increase weed growth since it brings up weed seeds from below. We would like to help you better understand the tool, but it is not clear from your review what precisely is not working. Please consider contacting us directly at 1- 888-909-6757 or by chat on www.greenworkstools.com. We are here to provide you with support and assist with any questions or concerns you may have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tiller is great for a small backyard garden plot or flower beds. It definitely prefers a well-prepared field, so if you have any grass or anything, give it a good scalping before bringing in the tiller. If you have a large garden plot, then be prepared to be swapping out batteries. This little guy will greedily eat up your batteries. I prefer to drop in a 4Ah battery, for the weight, but I do have smaller batteries as backup for when it runs out of juice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To begin, the cultivator was simple to assemble, though it came with an excess of packaging. The tines could have been labeled better. I had a 2.0 Ah battery to use with it, and with the battery installed it was still light enough to carry easily. When it comes to use, the tool does no better than you'd expect at the price; it struggled to break two inches of soil, and left a strip two inches wide between tines that required a second pass. To break up my 600 square foot garden, I needed 2.75 battery charges, and it took approximately 1.5 hours. After the first pass, I could do a second pass on a single charge. The tool is relatively easy to clean, and it doesn't "buck" when hitting hard patches like other tillers I've used. The main thing I'd appreciate is more power. It compares well to similar-price corded units though, and the battery convenience gives it an edge.
