No replacement parts

I would love to give this product a 5. It is really well made and has served its purpose well. It is a little heavy but again so well made that I have really liked it. I have two African Grays and one of them is particularly destructive. He has been able to take apart the wire slide out piece that is between the tray and the bird. This is a wired piece and over time is able to damage this to the point that it is not functional. The rest of the cage is fine but I cannot order replacement parts. It seems a disservice, especially in this day and age, that the whole cage should be thrown out due to the lack of spare parts. I hope that the company will rethink its policy.

Apparently safe and functional

Solid construction. Appears to be safe travel cage being made of wrought iron and non-toxic powdered coating like our main large cage. Handle/Perch on top is slippery for our parrot so recommend YOU & ME perch sand paper as wrap around. Almost a twin of main cage. Nice set we have now.

We've got a Goffin's cockatoo with a lot of social issues. The purpose of this cage was to get him out on the patio with us during the summer so he could be part of the family.This cage is really sturdy. In fact, it is downright heavy. I could see it being a travel cage for a long or multi-day trip. A little heavy for a trip to the vet, perhaps, but would certainly work.The cage is big enough for George's full 13" height to be comfortable enough, but I wish he had a little more head room.In fact, this relates to the only complaint I have: that the perch heights are really not adjustable. That is easily remedied with some 3rd party perches.All the competing products in this size range we looked at were more like parakeet cages.

I bought this travel cage for taking the bird outside, travelling, visiting, and maybe as a sleep cage in the summer when the days are very long, and I canput it in a darkened room
