Missing a piece
on August 12, 2020
Posted by: Gaston
This was my first architecture build. I got it for Christmas. It took me ages to build and was so hard. It was missing a brick (still don’t know where it is. This piece was the same color as the carpet I was building it on). I replaced it with a random red piece after searching everywhere. It’s very pretty for a desk. I put it on mine. This set is fun for backgrounds of cities. Since I’m more of a playable sets kind of person this did not really stand out. Before I moved it to my desk it was on my table behind the LEGO Harry Potter stuff. Took me a while to get this review in I’m sorry but I like this set.

Oh no! It’s rare for a LEGO® set to be missing pieces, but if your part hasn't turned up and you'd like to get a replacement, we're happy to help.

Just go to LEGO.build/BricksPieces-BV to request a new piece.

Verified Purchase:Yes
I would be hesitant on buying this set as we are only 32 steps in and have had to take 6 pieces from other sets to complete what we have
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

London Bridge is not falling down
on November 10, 2021
Posted by: GigilovesLegos
Okay..... I have to share my excitement here. I gave this London Architecture set to my 88 year old Father! He had never done a Lego set before but I thought it might be fun for him and to commemorate a trip to London we went on together. This is his response to me when he finished putting it together: "A fabulous exercise... can you see Nelson on his pedestal? .. can you see the sailboat under the bridge? The bridge does open and close... can you see the time on Big Ben? ... amazing detail and a challenge to put together but fun!" .. Thank you again for making an amazing set that spans all ages.

There's nothing that makes us happier than when our fans love their builds. We're glad your father enjoyed the experience so much and we wish him loads of fun displaying the set!

Great Set with Great Detail
on January 24, 2019

This was my first lego set that I have done since I was under the age of 12. This was a gift from my girlfriend for Christmas and after I started building it I was immediately hooked on legos again! This set was really cool for me because I wasn't building something to play with I was building something to have for display. Its great for myself and others to admire the great details that went into devolving this set that replicate an actual place in this world. I have never been to London but really want to visit but am familiar with the historic sites that were used in this build. My only complaint with this build is I wish the Ferris Wheel actually moved. Other than that I would def recommend to anyone!

Quality Lego Architecture Set
on June 22, 2017

London is my favorite of the four Lego Architecture skyline strand sets I have at this time. Its attention to detail on the rear side is the best I've seen.
I thought that the construction of the London Eye was brilliant and inspired. The bridge was detailed and beautiful.
However, in comparison, the National Gallery was unimpressive. Also, I had a slight problem with the 'boat' floating under the Tower Bridge, for a while I couldn't quite believe it was a boat. It really was just a little add-on that was not that great. I removed mine from the set after displaying it with my others. Finally, I was disappointed yet again with the amount of pieces going in to construct the platform. Four hundred and sixty-eight pieces seems like a lot, but when so many go into the platform, far fewer are used on the details that make these sets so special.
Altogether, the set was fun to build and is beautiful. As is the case with most things, there were a few disappointments, but the set as a whole is wonderful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes the realistic side of Lego building.

Great Introduction
on March 6, 2018

This was my first LEGO Architecture set. It was a fun and mostly easy build.
Like most other reviewers I found the London Eye to be the most challenging part of the build. It was hard to get it perfectly symmetrical but with some patience I was able to get it quasi circular.

I love London
on February 25, 2018

I thoroughly enjoyed putting London together and, at the same time, learning a little bit about the history of the major attractions.
The construction is relatively simple but very clever although the "Millenium Wheel" is a little flimsy.
I would highly recommend this product though and it now sits very proudly on my windowsill for everyone to enjoy!

Fun build

This is my third Architecture build and enjoying the builds more and more.
Easy to follow instructions, now that I know the build style! Stable build and enjoyment watching the buildings come alive! The added bonus of the history of each building is wonderful! I learned a lot!
Looking forward to my next build from this series!
