Beautiful unit - BUT doesn’t serve main purpose

Have had three weeks, but have to return. I really wanted this to work it is a beautiful unit but if you are buying a 800 cigar humidor you are protecting an investment. The humidity unit is not of the quality to protect my investment. The humidity is all over the place and is not accurate, so I have three hydrometers in the unit and top to bottom is not equal either. The unit is terrible to fill. There is not a functioning level indicator. So to fill you have to get on your knees, open the bottom drawer, shine a flashlight on the reservoir and pray you don’t overfill because it leaks on the floor of the unit. If you splash distilled water while filling it ends up on your cigars in the bottom drawer. My opinion bad design. Other nit picky weird items are you have to bend down to read temp/humidity cant just look at unit and see. Also would love the partitions in the drawers to be moveable. Noise is louder than expected but not unbearable. I believe it is the humification system and not the compressor. Compressor and temp control seem to work great. May try 4 large humidification packs but not sure if I can turn off humification system and an expensive unit if you have to use packs all the time. One last odd thing with unit came small plastic bag with door handle screws, but bag included a bunch of other parts and an hex key, no idea what they are for.

Does not do it's one job.

After spending the money to protect my cigars only to find out the humidity sensor in the unit is off by 14% and therefore never runs. Also who ever counted how many cigars this thing can hold is way no where close to 840. It wouldn't even hold 840 with two more drawers added. You can't however add the drawers because new air support can't find them. New air can't even send me a replacement unit. So now I have over $10k in cigars that I'm going to have to store in a Yeti with my cigar oasis.

So far it’s been a month
Humidity is off from the set point like 5 points.
Wish it had two more sliding shelves in it as there’s no way 840 sticks will fit in it. I did purchase two extra “drawers” thinking they were the shelves
Not a big deal as I like having extra parts.
Temp is very stable 3 Govee tiles in it all spot on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are awesome humidors... I now own three of them, because my collection continues to grow - totally love the digital humidity control built-in to these larger 840 & 1500 count humidors. The LED light on the larger units are a HUGE improvement... totally worth the investment. Note: Small design improvement for Newair would be reversible left/right option for door swing to better customize my setup placement. FYI: At first I bought a cheaper humidor 'deal' from another company and later regretted it - the worst part was whenever the power went out due to a thunderstorm, the cheap-o unit defaulted to max cooling and completed disrupted the relative humidity drying out my cigars sucking out all the moisture. Avoid cheap units and be frugal & wise... buy the best! Cheers... /P

Ok, I have a 840 count Newair cigar humidor, bought it last year. Great machine to keep my cigars ready for whenever I like them. Ever since day one this company has been very reliable for question, inquire and help and this time it hasn't been the exception. I found a minor issue in my machine and reached out to customer service, hands down to this company and their service. I'm amaze how I'm out of warranty but they still when ahead and suggest to send a new unit without hesitation. This is not just because a new unit, it's because the excellent customer services you always get at NEWAIR. How many other companies with deals with that give us a run a around? I'd seen many reviews complaining of their machine not being consistent on their humidity or other reviews about noise on the unit; I have to said I have been lucky enough cause my machine can barely be hear. For those I suggest place the unit directly on the floor. (It's a refrigerator) For humidity I use some beads and that's all. I bought this machine when they first came out and cant be more satisfied with it. Definitely for cigar humidors and wine cooler, NEWAIR is the way to go!

Good purchase, but needs some improvements

Fits a ton of cigars, love the lighting and the overall look. Buttons for control panel could use to light up. It would be nice to be able to see the amount of water in the tank without undergoing a time consuming project. And lastly WHY IS IT SO LOUD!!! The thing is pinging, binging and making more noise than a malfunctioning droid. Be aware that wherever you place it, it will make noise. A lot and rather annoying noise. If you have a place to put it where the noise doesn't matter, then get this unit. Everything else is just a suggestion for improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
