Reliable temperature and humidity levels

After about a year it's proven a worthy investment! Reliable temp/humidity in unstable environment. Spacious! I added 2 cedar trays (different source) since my stash is currently single cigar samplings. I've found I don't need all the Boveda packs (69%) that are suggested for size/capacity! Great customer service at NewAir for minor issue w/ hygrometer battery cover.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Humidor

Great Humidor, had an issue with unit heating after a few months but customer service was great and took care of the problem right away for me. Very Happy with unit.

First off when I opened the door of my Newair humidor the smell of the spanish cedar was intoxicating so nice. Everthing seems to be well constructed, the shelves fit nice plenty of space for laying out the cigars. The system is pretty quite,and the temperature light on the front is very bright and easy to read. My one issue with this humidor is you have to great lighting or a flashlight to read the humidity level in the humidor. I think they should have humity displayed beside temperature light, and maybe tone down the brightness of the light. I would buy this again Keenan

Best humidor I've ever owned

For those of us that have been smoking cigars longer than a weekend, we can all agree it takes a little bit of time to get stuff dialed in. No difference with this unit but once I got it dialed in it's absolutely perfect. I use cigar oasis for my humidification. But I love that this thing stays at the temperature I need to keep my sticks nice and fresh. The best part is that I did have a small issue and the company backs up it's initial warranty super fast with no problems. Highly recommend this unit.

I waited a little while before writing my review as I wanted to make sure it worked as expected. From the very startup, I have been very impressed. The construction was high quality and it has kept the temp spot on since the beginning. The only thing I am having trouble with is keeping the humidity the same from the top of the unit to the bottom. Otherwise, I am very impressed with the overall quality of the unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the few models with built-in heater

My basement gets below 65 degrees in the summer. With this unit, I was able to maintain around 70 degrees all year round.

Easy set up.

Setup was very easy. I didn't notice the plastic smell others have complained about. Mine smelled like cedar when first opened. Still, I washed and rinsed the inside per instructions, wiped down the cedar shelves, and used the humidifier tray that came with it to season it. Quick, easy process. In a day or two I was ready to go. One thing not mentioned in the instructions, but noted on the power cord, is that you need to keep the unit level for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. I understand that this is important with all small (and large) refrigerators to assure internal fluids are where they should be before beginning refrigeration. I also seasoned and added a few cedar boxes to help organize my cigars, as only one drawer is included. The shelves are good to put boxes on, but cigars will tend to roll off if just stacked on trays. Humidity is higher in my humidor on top rack versus bottom by about 3-4 degrees. Not a big deal. I'm keeping right around my preferred 70 & 72+/-. I took delivery just over a month ago, and everything is good so far.
