alternate side too close

Didn't realize it but the other side has outlets too close so things with bulky adaptors or thick plugs make this thing basically a 3 outlet surge protector

Space saving and convenient

Great for space with furniture against the wall. Allows to plug in from the side safely and prevents furniture from smashing cords plugged directly into outlets. Additionally provides surge protection to all 4 outlets. Only improvement would be to have each set of outlets powered by an individual plug going into the walls outlet, instead of the lower part only having a plastic guide going into the ground of the lower outlet. Especially since some outlets have the bottom or top outlet controlled by a switch. It would also be nice to have 2 Usb plugs on the top of the unit to allow charging of mobile devices.

excellent format, curious LED indicator

This was the right answer for a couple of places in my house - and with lower switched outlets I'm able to defeat that and get 4 items on the "always on" tap. The odd thing is the red "ground" LED. In my world, red means "fault" but not this time.

Compact and off the floor

So many of these products have 6 or more outlets, but the product is a long strip that sits on the floor, desk, or counter. I like this one because its on the wall, easy to reach, and doesn't collect "dust bunnies".
