DPI button placement
on February 23, 2023

DPI button placement is absolutely infuriating when gaming. I love when I am playing an FPS and the DPI keeps switching my settings every which way. I needed to disable those buttons just so I can play games, on a gaming mouse.

Sometimes when clicking they will bounce up and I’ll double click but otherwise it’s a good mouse with tip top Bluetooth responsiveness and great wired responsiveness

Bought the original G502 when it first came out many years ago. Was finally at the point where I needed a new one, so why not just get the same mouse I've liked and been using but wireless. Has been great!

Mostly good, with a couple of issues.

Mostly all I want in a wireless mouse. With G Hub, I can set the mouse to the DPI level I like, and program the buttons as I see fit. I actually prefer all the buttons in the G502 line of mice, and can't seem to live without them anymore. The charge last a good while, most of the week, as advertised.
I actually like the lighting levels, but can see where others would like an "off" setting. I say you should have bought one of the other models.
I was surprised that there weren't weights to get your mouse to the desired heaviness like there were with previous G502 mice. I guess there might not have been enough room in the chassis for them.
The big oddity I've found so far has to do with the power management. I find when the mouse goes idle, it might be a few seconds before your G Hub settings get reapplied as it powers up. A few times now, I have had the mouse connected to its USB cable to charge, and after I disconnect the cable after the charge reaches 100%, the application under the cursor start acting like I'm pressing "scroll down" or the down arrow button perpetually on. The only way I can get rid of this behavior is to restart Windows. This has to be a bug in the driver somewhere. I've had to keep the mouse plugged in until I restart Windows because of it. No problems when I plug the cable in though, only unplugging it.
Overall, I'm glad I bought it.

Big difference, great mouse

The difference from a low price gaming mouse to such a great gaming mouse like this is so much that it took my a couple of days to get used to it, but now I can make insane flicks on FPS games, definitely a fan of logitech and their mouse now.

Great wireless G502X Plus Wireless Mouse
on October 9, 2022

Great wireless technology including powerplay to recharge the battery indefinitely. I also like removable DPI shift button. However, when I click the mouse, it sounds different. It just sounds more like loud mechanical spring coil sound which does get a bit annoying due to new hybrid optical mechanical switch. It just needs to sound a lot more quieter when clicking the mouse. Other than that, I like lighting customization to change LED and I'm glad there's an option to choose either black or white color which I've gone with white color.
