Great board but suffering from audio popping like a lot of others I see. It is quite annoying. I am using usb from pc to Schiit Audio dac and amp. I tried spdif as well with the same results.

Great board so far.... All worked first power up... Instructions easy to follow in book..
Only small hiccup i had was when installing water cooler fan to board I did not put the connector on CPU fan but in instead CPU alt connector next to it... causes small error on power up and was easy to find and fix.

I remember watching a YouTube video of Linus recently, who's opinion I respect, where he was building a rig and he said that the motherboard does not really have any real effect on gaming performance. In this case I would have to disagree. I immediately noticed a difference from my MSI x470 Gaming Plus to my newly acquired ASUS ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) ATX Motherboard. Everything was loading faster at startup, applications were running smoother than it had previously and my benchmark score jump from a mediocre score to one of the best in comparison to other gaming rigs with my same specs. I was hesitant in purchasing this motherboard due to the price but when you account for the on-board Wi-Fi and all of the additional peripherals, USB 3.2, shielded on board audio, USB type-C, 2.5G LAN, 8 sata connections and the hugh uptick in performance it was completely worth it, especially when I account for the amount of money needed to invest in a separate adapter for a lot of these things. To be fair I did not notice much improvement in my gaming performance overall other than fast load speeds because the one thing that my previous motherboard did do well with was gaming, but I did see an enhanced performance gain overall so I'm only assuming that this also translated to gaming as well. Overall I have to say that this is hands down the best motherboard I have ever purchased. I am very happy with it and I would suggest that you bit the bullet and make the purchase or save up to purchase the ASUS ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) ATX Motherboard instead of anything else because it's completely worth it.

I am very pleased with the ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) Motherboard. Running a 5900X, 32GB of 3600 CL14 RAM and the system couldn't be more stable.
