I bought one of these to replace a Howard Leight Impact Sport electronic muff and they work wonderfully to reduce the sound of gunfire while allowing speach to be heard. And I really love the headband on the tactigrip series.
I'm buying an additional set.

Didn't live up to expectation

I only write reviews for products that don't live up to their expectation, in hopes to help the next person before making a purchase. My Walkers Razor earmuff only lasted two months before the noise reduction technology stopped working . I tried changing the batteries but the option for noise reduction still would not work when I turned them on. A total waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does what they are supposed to

These would get 5 stars except for the fact that if you are wearing a baseball hat the pressure from the headband on the button on the top of the hat is very annoying and painful after a while. You’ll find yourself constantly adjusting them. Solution. No hat no problem.

Great pair of ear muffs! Love that I can hear when someone is talking to me while I shoot. The only thing is that I find them a little off when I have my glasses on, I feel like I have to advise them here and there.
