I bought these at a local sporting goods store. They were comfortable to wear, adjustable and blocked loud range discharges while allowing you to hear range commands, etc. That is, right up to the time they stopped working and despite putting in fresh batteries they are a no-go. I wish I could say I wore them out but had only used them about twenty times. Disappointed.

At the end I had to laugh, I wake up at 2 or 3 and can’t go back to sleep a few nights a week. If the weather is not bad I’ll put on my Walker sound enhancing earphones and go sit in a chair in the backyard. If I’ve got hogs I can hear them rooting probably 70 to 100 yards away and not have to shine a light. I’m sitting there with the volume on high when I hear, Grrrrrrrrrrrr……… I’m not a scaredy-cat but I’ve never heard anything like this before. Then I heard it again, Grrrrrrrrr Grrrrrrrr ! Now I’m 100% certain that something out there is getting ready to get me! I get ready to run and realize that in the dark I don’t know which direction to go cause I can’t tell which direction the sounds coming from with the headphones on. I jerk em off and then I hear my stomach go Grrrrrr. apparently those headphones are worth the money.

Very comfortable

I’ve been wanting a pair of electric muffs for a while now and figured when I saw these for the price I might as well pick up a couple. Bought a set for me and my girlfriend without breaking the bank. Put them on to shoot my .308 and hardly noticed the bang as the noise canceling kicked in. The speakers are really great and the amount of volume control is awesome. The only thing that could make them better is a thin slice of foam behind the mic grate to dampen the sound of wind as it passes past the mic. However, overall these worked exactly how I imagined they would. Excellent product

Excellent for the Price

I bought these for my son for hunting. I love that he can still hear me while protecting his hearing. They work great, amplify quiet sounds so he can hear better, but silence the gun shots. The only downside is that when it's super windy the wind overrides all other sounds. If they cut out wind they'd be 5 stars. I definitely recommend buying them, especially considered the great price!

My Favorite Hearing Protection

I've owned a lot of ear muffs through the years - from the old standard foam-filled ones my dad handed down to me, all to the way to the latest and greatest electronics. These have been my "go-to" muffs for some time now. They work every time, are very comfortable and I really enjoy the low profile. For the price these are difficult, if not impossible, to beat.

I especially enjoy the feature where I can hear regular noises, yet it cancels out any loud, sharp, and unwanted noises. I can barely hear my mother-in-law now. I may wear them every time she visits from now on. Plus, they are very comfortable.
