I used to only use ear plugs but decided to look into getting some over the ear protection and found these were one of the most recommended. Bought them at a great price at Bi-Mart and they are incredible! It's nice to be able to hear perfectly but it cuts out any loud noises automatically. They are super comfortable too and take AAA batteries which are included.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Oddly non-stereophonic

The sound is amazingly crisp and well amplified, but isn't stereo, so you have no directional input as to where sounds originate from. I've owned several brands over the years, and this ones sound is amazing, but confusing...you can't tell if sound is from the right or left, it's perfectly blended.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received a set of 6hese as an up sell for a firearm class and my wife liked them so I bought this pare for her. They work great and she likes them. The only issue is they are muffs and get hot. Other than that the amplification is great and works property to shut off the dB of the firearms and still be able to to hear during conversation and in range classes.

I have super sensitive ears, so I was leary of trying something that I can hear and shoot my gun at the same time. Well these ear muffs are so much fun I can hear super well with them on and no fear of loud noises. I can even be like a spy because they pick up quiet noises from far away and once again if something gets loud they protect my ears. I think these are way better than my husbands hearing aids he complains how when a room gets loud he is uncomfortable and the sound hurt his ears. thank you for making a great product.

Had them for some time and they function quite well. I keep them on while hunting so unfortunately they took a tumble with me into the Gauley River in WV.

Bought these a few months ago and finally got to try them today. Worth every penny and then some. So much better than regular deadphones or ear plugs. Will recommend these to everyone I shoot with!
