We were looking for a pizza oven that could be used indoors. And with the Cuisinart name we thought we’d give it a try. It takes a while to reach temperature, but we learned it is easier to remove the hot stone onto a heat proof surface and then make the pie right on the stone and place the stone back in the Cuisinart at full temperature. When finished we remove stone and serve the pie on the stone so it stays hot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised by the performance. The crust texture and the flavor were excellent. We used dough from the supermarket and set the time and temperature for New York style. Very happy with the results. Physics being what it is, there is a warm up time for 650 F, but it you plan a little, and prepare other work, that is not so bad. Getting a good release from the peel takes practice. Overall this is an excellent way to make pizza.

I bought the Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven on impulse, but I am so glad I did. I've been using an Ooni woodfired pizza oven. I was OK with the results but it was a lot of work to get it right and the pizzas didn't always come out perfect. With the Cuisinart, they're perfect every time. We generally make individual pizzas so that everyone can top theirs exactly the way they want it, but we also most recently copied our favorite pizza from a local place. The individual ones cook in about 5 minutes and the single large pizza cooked in about 12. You can actually watch the dough rising as it cooks! In my wood fired oven the dough never rose like it does in the Cuisinart. If you eat a lot of pizza, this is the oven for you.
