I love it! A must have for me now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy pizza and making my own, my way! The Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven is outstanding! Very high quality and build from Cuisinart as I expect from them, you can feel the thick metal oven door, and when you're finished the oven fan runs to cool itself down. The first pizza I made was Margherita pizza, I followed making the receipt for dough, which did taste better when you let the dough ferment in the fridge. I baked according to directions very tasty and turn out well. I did have an issue with the pizza peeler, I still have to master that but I do enjoy using it. The next pizza I made was Chicago deep dish in the 12x12 pan, using the temperature recommended 550 for 15 mins, it was too much and the pizza was too dark on the bottom crust for me. like any new oven trial and error. I tried a several thin and crispy, my favorite. used the pizza peeler again but put cornmeal on it and it slid off easier and finally I made a calzone. Love it and a must have for me now.

Pizza anyone?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pizza maker is AWESOME! I've made pizzas in the oven before, but this pizza oven takes it to a whole new level. I made my own crust for the first time as well to see how the oven did...was not disappointed. The oven takes a bit to heat up (it does have to get quite hot) so you have plenty of time to prep and make the pizza. The pizza peel is great because it is easy to use and folds up for storage. It has a crumb tray so nothing spills on the bottom and sticks. The deep dish pizza tray makes a bigger pizza but we prefer the thin crust, which by the way, cooks in just 5 short minutes (amazing!). I haven't had to wash the stone yet but I'm sure it comes clean easily. We've had pepperoni pizzas, breakfast pizzas, sausage pizzas...and many more to come!

Needs Improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this pizza oven is quite large, with a very short plug which is on the back bottom right side of the appliance. Which means that you really have to have the right accommodations for it to work in your kitchen. Next, it takes thirty long minutes to preheat before you can use it. Mine tripped the circuit right as it reached the preheat time, infuriating me. It also heats up the kitchen like a normal oven would do. Next, the pizza peel accessory that you are supposed to use to slip the pizza onto the cooking stone would not release any of the pizzas or calzones that I prepared no matter how much flour I dusted it with so I never got the opportunity to actually cook directly on the stone surface. It got to the point that I was tired of wasting pizza ingredients so I detached the handle off of the peel and cooked the pizzas on that. When I was finally able to cook the pizzas I will say that they tasted better than they did in a traditional oven and in only five minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes great pizzas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant in regards to how well this product would really work. I thought that my oven was good enough. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it cooked both my homemade and frozen pizzas. I like how it has a light telling you when the unit is heated to the correct temperature and a beep when the pizza is done cooking. It evenly cooked both the homemade and frozen pizzas that I made. I would (have already) recommend this product to my friends and family.

Excellent pizza oven and grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our entire family has enjoyed making their own favorite topping pizza using this Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven. Assembly was very easy, taking about 15 minutes following the enclosed directions. The pizza oven is rather heavy and needs a fair amount of counter space. The pizza oven is very well constructed. We made about ten pizzas with different toppings. We found that it is best to leave the pizza in the oven a little longer that directed to achieve the desired golden crust and be sure to use adequate corn meal to prevent the pizza from sticking. The pizza stone cleans easily but takes some effort. We also used the grill to cook pancakes and sausages. Worked great. The drip shield worked very well. This pizza oven would make for a great house warming gift.

The oven is easy to use, seems very well made and from quality materials. Multiple adjustable temperatures (350°F-700°F) makes it perfect for different type of pizzas up to 12", so you can always nail it on game/pizza days in minutes. Oven comes with pizza stone, a tray for deep dish pizzas as well as a pizza peel for easy to insert and take out the pizzas.
Oven heats up much quicker than a regular oven and cooks pizzas to perfection in just a few minutes 5-15 depending on the pizza style and temperature selected. Cuisinart oven has a large window and combined with the inside light, allows you to see in real time the magic of great pizza creating in real time before your eyes.
I have made regular as well as deep dish pizzas and so far I am very pleased with this oven. Lots of fun for Friday's game nights where kids can decorate their personal pizza and be done in a few minutes and ready to enjoy.

Awesome little pizza oven

I absolutely love this little pizza oven. It doesn't take up too much counter space, and works just as well as a traditional pizza oven you would buy a pizza made from a store. I would definitely recommend.
