Staples does have a whiter paper roll

Yes this is recycled and that is good. But it is not really white and should not be sold as white. It is recycled non-bleached sort of creamy colored. Maybe that would be OK with you if you only use this paper occasionally at home. If you spend hours a day using your caclulator or value your eyes or attach calculator tapes for presentation to the IRS this is not a good choice. Here is a tip though. Staples does sell a brighter true white adding machine roll. Staples SKU #015154. UPC 7-18103-07854-2. 2 1/4" x 130 ft per roll $8.99 per 12 pack. ONLY available in stores and not all stores seem to have them. Don't know why not but that is my experience. It does NOT appear on the Staples web site. If you can find it you'll like it.

I know there are less expensive calculator paper rolls but I much prefer the quality of these rolls and am willing to pay a little extra.

These rolls of tape are fairly thin but for me worse than that is the color. I realize it's recycled paper but the paper is beige not a pure white. Therefore I find it very difficult to read the numbers. I would not buy this type of paper tape rolls again.

Good Quality paper. It is a thicker paper than some and a good quality. Have used this brand before and it has always worked fine.
