This is made from recycled materials. It is not quite as thick or brite white but works just fine.

Yes this is recycled and that is good. But it is not really white and should not be sold as white. It is recycled non-bleached sort of creamy colored. Maybe that would be OK with you if you only use this paper occasionally at home. If you spend hours a day using your caclulator or value your eyes or attach calculator tapes for presentation to the IRS this is not a good choice. Here is a tip though. Staples does sell a brighter true white adding machine roll. Staples SKU #015154. UPC 7-18103-07854-2. 2 1/4" x 130 ft per roll $8.99 per 12 pack. ONLY available in stores and not all stores seem to have them. Don't know why not but that is my experience. It does NOT appear on the Staples web site. If you can find it you'll like it.

This paper is too thin and tears easily. The "off" white color is distasteful and looks really cheap when stapled or clipped to copy paper. I expect better products from a company like staples.

30% recyled paper tape causes paper jams

Our supply person always goes for the cheapest office products she can get as she is part-owner of the company. This tape caused a jam in my last calculator and is jamming the new calculator I bought to replace it. My advice is to stay away from the 30% recyled paper calculator tape.

I really like this paper the paper that came with my adding machine was so thick you could hardly tear it which made it look messy. This paper however is just the right thickness. It is thick enough to work great and yet thin enough to tear easily. I will definitely stick with this paper.
