I am not the most crafty do it yourself kind of person but, this product was so easy to use, durable and long lasting. I make the kids in my family music CD's for holidays and special occasions and this is by far the best labels I have used.
Pros: Strong Adhesive, Tough

I had the chance to use my avery CD labels and I was nothing short of impressed. I printed 8 custom designed CD labels. I found a template online and printed off 8 individual labels.

The only thing I don't like about these labels is that the tabs don't tear off cleanly. There are always "hang-overs" that I can't always remove cleanly.

Wrong Labels

I have used Avery Labels before. Now I can't find the ones I used. I want to Identify my vacation videos like I did last year. Everything buy are for an office. I build my own format using my own photos one at a time. What is the Label Number that will satisfy my needs?

Very disappointed with quality

This is the first review I have ever written about anything but I am close to tears. I started my project with Avery Product 8691 that I had purchased several years ago and was very pleased with the vivid colors using my HP ink jet printer. When I ran out I made sure to order the exact same Avery Product 8691 and the package looks identical, but they are not the same labels. I am so disappointed in the colors printed on the new labels.The colors are dull compared to using the older labels. I used the same printer with the same ink on the same day. I can feel the difference in the quality of the paper. I am so sad because now my project of a set of 3 CDs for each family member to remember their deceased love one looks tacky with a combination of vivid and dull labels in each set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The quality of this product has drastically changed for the worse.
I am not sure when the change happened with their matte cd labels, but in the past when I would print with avery CD labels, the ink would print very clear with vivid colors, but now with the newer labels the ink seems to spread on the labels making the images look blurry with dull colors. It's like I am printing on a standard piece of printing paper, which is not good when you are trying to print a professional looking label.

Hello, thank you for your review. I am so sorry to hear that these CD labels did not work for you. We do make changes to our products over time, but I am not sure if this product was affected. I've found that adjusting the Paper/Media Type to Labels can help with smearing. Does your printer offer a Labels setting?

CD Labels Work Well for me!!

I've been making music CDs for my daughter's birthday for the past 4 years. Just completed "Volume 4" for the gifts to the party goers. I finally found that Avery had these labels and was very pleased at the ease of using them and very happy at how professional they look. I have struggled in the past using other brands. I use Avery labels for many things and love the improvements made throughout the years. I will continue to use Avery for all of my label needs. Thank You! Carmen

The Worst Avery Label I have Ever Used!

I picked these up by mistake, not noticing these are not the ones with the large center hole cut out.
#1 I had to order a new Applicator to make them line up .. $20
#2 The whole concept with pulling the tabs off once applied is a frigg'n disaster!
I've use many Avery products & my question is "How did these make it into production?"
Every application is hit & miss at the best!!
