Elegant desk accessory

I bought this in-store. In the box it's not much to look at I bought it on price and because it's what was available. Out of the box though it looks really nice and it works as advertised. Main lens is 2x which is for casual use not fine detail but it has a 6x insert which can come in handy for occasional use. I haven't had it long enough to judge it's resistance to scratches but it is completely plastic so if you throw it into the bottom of a backpack or a box of tools it will probably develop scratches. At $12.99 it is not the best deal you could get (-1 star for value) but if you need one and Staples is handy it is a good choice.

This magnifier is light weight and an easy tool for better viewing of fine print. It includes a small extreme closeup window which can be very useful. I recommend it.
