OK for basic magnifier

I bought this magnifier for my mother who has moderate vision problems. The magnifier works but the inset is too small and it is hard to find the focal point. This magnifier would work best for those who have good vision but need help reading fine print. People with vision problems should look for a larger magnifier lens with stronger magnification.

It has come in really handy for reading small print that I can't read any more. I keep it in my desk and take it out frequently when I need to use it.
