Bought this for my mother who is in her 80s. She was having a problem with small print and what she had been using was basically a child's toy. She can read all the small print now.

Excellent for youngster

This magnifying glass is reasonably priced solid safe and lightweight so it was a perfect gift for my four-year-old grandson who became curious about magnification after discovering magnifying glasses. He likes playing with it and using it to find places on his new world globe. A great teaching tool; fun too.

The small extra enlarge section doesn't make the letters plain. The letters in that enlargement look distorted.

For my particular application this object works very well.It is light weight and made from a nearly non-destructible material. It's light weight makes it handy to use.

Getting older it is hard to see the small writing for the expiration date on some coupons. I had a magnifier that was not good enough. This one is excellent.
