I use thie 32 pound white paper to make very nice greeting cards. I also use the same weight in ivory for this purpose. I have also designed certificates for special purposes such as for speakers at my Rotary club and awards for members when they do special community or club service. My laser jet color printer handles this paper very well and never jams. It really is the perfect weight to fold in quarters for the cards. It folds neatly unlike heavier weight paper. I have been very satisfied with this product.
Very happy with the color output......from a home inkjet printer. The colors printed beautifully and the paper feels heavy. We printed both sides of text with very little to no show through. This is a great option if you need that extra touch of professionalism in your print outs. The paper texture is smooth and the weight adds class to the presentation. It also folds fairly crisply considering the weight and finish. It is a little hard to compare papers like this at the store....at least at my local staples there are no samples to look at....but am happy with the one I chose.
There are comparable papers available from name brand companies but my experience has been that the Staples brand papers are every bit as good as the name brands. Generally what happens with store brand products is tdifferent companies contract with a paper manufacturer to put a different labels on the same product. The thing that makes a difference is the brightness and weight of the paper not the brand. I purchase generic 20 lb paper for most purposes and opt for a brighter heavier stock (24 28 or even 32 lb) for the copies I want to "shine."
