I use the tape for shipping mostly heavy stuff it works well though one must be careful not to let some of the packing tape remain idle for too long the glue apparently after an extended time does lose its adhesiveness I discovered.

Unless the tape is stuck to itself it does not stick well and actually comes off the package. Not very helpful.
