this is exactly what i was looking for i use it to list purchases made for my business. it seems to work best. it's lacking a string to open up to the last page you wrote in.. also the price was a bit high. i was looking for something sturdy that will last a few years. the old kinds were in canvas. this was a bit too expensive but nevertheless i think i had very little else to choose from.

Very expensive for a 2-column ledger but worth getting after a combination of coupons and discounts. On plus side wider (taller?) rules provide more room for notations and comments.

I use the product to keep track of monthly bills expenses and donations each month. It lasts for several years. I was married in 97' and have one more year on my old ledger my recent purchase will be for 2012. It works great!

Use it as a checkbook register since the banks don't supply enough registers. The ledger has changed since the last one I bought in 2007. The older one lasted me for three years. These are alot easier to keep a checkbook balanced or find mistakes.
