I find it absolutely hilarious that so many people buy this product and complain that it's "too short". People please double check! Those of you who want the tabs to protrude out of hanging folders and be visible get a normal "Manila folder"!!! This product on the contrary is an INTERIOR folder. The difference? It is meant to hide inside the hanging folders. It's really preference but regular manilas are a lot cheaper than this kind so it makes it even more ironic that people buy this product and further take the time to complain about them being "too short". Now MY complaint with this product is that it is SO DARN EXPENSIVE! Just why does it have to be twice as expensive as a regular manila folder??? Same brand same quantity and it requires less paper to produce them and yet they charge us more than double? Lesser demand could not amount to that much of a price difference. I find it utterly ridiculous.

I had tried using standard file folders inside the hanging files and it just doesn't work - the tabs interfere with the view of the tabs on the hanging files. It defeats the whole purpose of organizing subtopics within files. These interior files are the answer.

I have bought these folders many times: to organize and maintain a large teaching resource file as well as items for each specific lesson; to organize my personal and business (bills taxes genealogy etc.)at home and help my own children learn organization skills and use them. They are reasonably priced have the quality and durability I need and are multifunctional...file organization; math and reading level games and activities...one per file folder; cut for sturdy stencils patterns to trace e.g. the parts of a large gingerbread house; book report story folders; and more! They work well "they ain't broke so don't fix (or change) them."

I do not like them because they are shorter then they use to be. I liked them when the tab was higher then the folder

Folders are perfect for low or high volumes of documents for filing if you don't need to handle them that often. They are value oriented so the construction isn't as sturdy as some higher priced folders but work for what we need them for.
