When I went into staples looking for file folders I had to ask for help in locating them after the store was completely changed around. I used to know where everything was and could go right to it when I was on my lunch hour from work. When I finally found them half of the shelf was empty (although I know it was back to school sale) and I did not find what I was looking for. I did end up purchasing the 3-tab file folders instead of the 5-tab that I originally wanted. They do their job but when trying to handle payroll invoicing and accounts payable; it is much easier with the 5-tab to keep everything straight.

They are smaller than my older folders so the get lost in the filing cabinet. Seems like a way to cut costs and is annoying.

These folders are fine for files that are not more than 1 inch thick. They would be greatly improved with a larger size tab on the top for labeling.

There is no reason to buy higher priced products. Staples Brand does the job and does is right!

3 tab file folders

I am very upset- I thought I was purchasing the cheapest file folders-that's all we needed for what we are doing with them. In my hast I didn't check my receipt- I was charged 22.95- came back to work -opened the box used about a quarter of them and then realized- the boxes were mixed up on the shelf ! I had purchased the most expensive ones there! Not too happy! We use these once and then pitch them.

These file folders are simple and straightforward. Not a bad set of folders for the price. Always a sweeter deal with a coupon.
