I like these Manila folders because they're lightweight and come with tabs in 5 positions for easy viewing. The price is reasonable as well.

The normal 3-tab folders get too cramped. The 5-tab work better when you have sooo many folders like I do as a teacher.

Staples Manila folders 5 Tab Assorted Position 100/Box

I was a bit surprised when I opened this delivery. I was used to the old red box I usually receive. When I looked closer I noticed the box indicated 100% Recycled Content. The old box was 10% Recycled Content. I opened the box and saw that the folders were also different from the old ones. They have a flat finish and a cheap feel while the old ones had a smoother finish and a professional feel. I suppose the new folders will work for some purposes but I would not knowingly buy them again. My conclusion is that you get what you pay for. If quality is not important you can save money. If you care about quality buy another product. If this product was clearly marked as 100% Recycled Content I would not have complained. I would them have received what I expected. That was not the case with this purchase. Next time I will read the details and know what Staples is trying to sell me.
