File folders are a very necessary part of many offices. They don't have to be fancy but they do have to be made to withstand repeated handling. These folders do the job. The assorted tab positions provide for ease of access in a drawer or when piled on a desk. The nice thing about purchasing these basic folders is you can put the hole punches where you want or not punch holes in the folder or the contents if you choose not to punch holes. The folder can also be inserted inside another folder or cut in two to act as a divider in a 3 ring binder or another folder.
The folders seem expensive (Staples prices) but it's nice to have 5 tabs so you can stagger them and read the tabs better. I got these because of a $10 coupon. They seem fine so far.
The Manila folders were fine but I went to the store to buy a legal size accordion folder which it turned out is only available on line in quantities of 25. I need 4.
