It's very heavy but easy to use and very adjustable. It was inexpensive comparatively speaking but has a tendency to loose punched holes instead of keeping them inside. Other than that... it's a good item.

a good paper punch misleading product description

This paper punch is well made and in almost every respect is excellent. I purchased it based on Staples' description of its imprint measured at 1/4 inch diameter. It does not actually punch 1/4-inch circles but a size smaller than that corresponding to many other paper punches. It was important for the particular application I will be using the paper punch that it conform to the 1/4" diameter. Because it is otherwise well-made and is "close" to the desired size I have chosen to keep it and will make do. If the product description were accurate I would have given this item the full 5 stars.

Clearly a commercial strength hole punch but sooooo much better than the pathetic low end cheap hole punch I used before Easily punches many pages at a time…10-15+ sheets and easily adjustable. It is heavy and a bit big and bulky but it is a terrific hole punch.
