Quick & easy to read

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the Vicks SpeedRead Thermometer with Fever InSight because it works in just 8 seconds and it’s easy to read. As an RN I have used many thermometers over the years and this is one of the best. Since it’s hard for me to read small print, I love that it is back lit and the numbers are easy to read. Plus it’s very handy to to have it light up green for a normal temperature, yellow for a slightly elevated temperature, and red for a fever. It even has a memory function, and can be used orally, rectally, or under the arm. Would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] , simple thermometer. Love the shape of it. Easy to hold, especially when using on a squirmy baby or toddler. The display is bright and easy to read. I like the colors that tell you when to worry - red.
There’s no mercury, so it’s long lasting and durable and the tip doesn’t look like it will break. My only ask is that it lacks a plastic case for storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice thermometer that seems to be accurate and well made. Display is nice and clear which will be useful, liked the color indication as well but mostly it's up to the user anyway to determine the fever or not

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the comparison with another thermometer and it is 100% accurate, the lights change color and help even someone without experience, I hope I don't have to use it with my children, but if we will need to do it, I'm sure it will help us a lot.

Easy viewing and fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how the Vicks speed read thermometer is fast and lights up with the temp for those nights that your sick in bed. Really makes a difference not having to get up to see it and it being fast response time. I tested it against my other thermometer and it was accurate, but my new Vicks one is so much better I will not be going back! Recommend this thermometer to anyone young or old!

The reading is very fast and conveniently flashes colors depending if the reading is normal or abnormal. I did try the temperature reading via mouth and armpit as advertised on the package and found them to be about 1 measure off. Overall this is a fantastic easy tool.

Good for emergencies.

It was a little tricky to learn how to get the reading. It also was not as fast as an ear thermometer or forehead scanner. Overall, not a bad thermometer, though.

It has a nice screen with large print that is easy to read along with color indicators for the temp reading! Battery life has been really great so far, hasn't died on me yet!
