Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vicks SpeedRead Thermometer has a Fever InSight feature that uses color-coded displays to inform you if your temperature is within the normal range. This thermometer can be used in several ways either orally, rectally or under the arm. The last temperature recall feature is nice since it allows me to keep track of my temperature. It also comes with a storage case and the included battery is replaceable. In order to preserve battery life the thermometer will automatically shut off after 90 seconds. This thermometer will come in handy for those times I feel under the weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Speed Read Thermometer is a complete upgrade from what I am used! It reads super fast and the accuracy is on point. I especially appreciate that the screen display is large enough to actually read the results without hurting my eyes. There is also a memory recall function which has really been useful in keeping up with our little one's temperature. Also, it comes with a nice storage case and it cleans easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this thermometer to sample and am very pleased with it. There's no set up required and you just need to press one button to take a temperature. The results are available within seconds and are also color coded based on the temperature being normal, high, or low. It comes with disposable covers to change from person to person and a nice storage case. As much as I hope no one gets sick, it's nice knowing I have a reliable thermometer to use!

It was great because my poor sick daughter didn't have to sit with the thermometer in her mouth waiting for the temperature to read. The sanitary sleeves that go on the tip make it convenient to use this on different people without having to sanitize each time.

Along with the digital numbers, It's color coded so if it's green there is no fever. Yellow to red there is a fever. Can't get much easier to read than that.

Great little thermometer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a simple thermometer to tell me our temps when one of us was feeling a bit under the weather, and this one is really nice. You just push a button to turn it on, put it under your tongue and hold it there until it flashes green, yellow, or red. Which only takes about 8 seconds. If it's green, you're supposed to be in a more normal temp zone. If yellow, a bit of a higher temp than normal, and red, you most likely have a fever. I never had it in the red yet, but did have it in the yellow. The one nice thing too, if you don't remember what your temp was, the next time you turn it on it shows that last temp. It comes with a clear plastic protector that it slides in and out of, very nice to just be able to throw it in your bag or purse for travel, and have it protected. Overall I'm quite pleased with this thermometer and keep it handy in the bathroom, or throw it in my shower bag when I travel. Would definitely get again.

Our families new (and last) brand of thermometer!

This product is rapid reading and accurate (compared it with readings from doctor office/ER/ambulance thermometers....yes, I'm thorough). Switches from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Illuminating display is perfect (with different colors to indicate severity) and the "beeping" notifications work great! Definitely wish we had this a few years ago! With trying different brands in the past, but the search for any other brand of thermometer is over. Thank you Vicks for a great product! Highly recommended!
