[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flu finally made it's rounds in our home so this was a must have. This is a accurate and very quick reading thermometer. It deffinetly did it's job and temperature readings matched up with urgent care readings. I really liked that it came with disposable covers to toss after each use as to not continue to speed germs. Good quality and a name I stand by.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty simple thermometer. Straight forward use. Press button, place under tongue, wait a few seconds. It beeps at you when done. Temp displayed in large, easy to read letters. Nothing else to say, but it wants more characters.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I love the Vicks Read-thermometer with fever insight it does like it says and works. I love the fact it changes from green, yellow, or red depending on the temperature reading and is quite accurate but please note the light does not stay green, red or yellow it will beep with the color for about 15 seconds then goes back to normal led screen color but is still a great feature to have when your wanting to know how high or low your child's fever is. Overall A great product with safety in mind.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really needed an oral thermometer in my house, the ear and forehead ones just do not accurately check my family, and being I do not have any one under the age of 9 in my house this one is perfect. This can also be used under the arm and for rectal use if needed. I like that it is ready to use in seconds and temperature is read within 8 seconds. The different color display with the large number reading is great: green is accepted, yellow elevated and red for high fever. I always triple check a reading and all have come back the same or close too (100.1 to 100.3 for example of difference). This is water resistant and very easy to clean up with soap and water or rubbing alcohol and comes with a storage case. This also came with some probe covers which can be purchased at drug stores. Very happy with this thermometer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try Vicks Speed-read Thermometer with Fever Insight and what a great product. I love the color changing display. When my daughter isn't feeling well, she will take her temp. She thinks everything is abnormal, this is a great visual on teaching her what is, and what is not a fever.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vicks Speed-Read Thermometer is easy to use and interpret results. It has a large colorful display. I cut out one star because I dislike the type of batteries it uses. It is not my favorite thermometer but it is good enough.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thermometer works very well. I have only used it for oral temperatures. I like that it changes color accordingly to fever or no fever, it does display your temperature fast. It also comes with a sleeve to put it in.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thermometer by Vick’s works great for our needs. We needed a thermometer for our kids especially our new baby. The thermometer has a large flat head about the size of a thumbprint that make it way to handle. On that head that is a large screen that displays the temperature and units. I also changes color to correspond to the temperature where green mean “ No fever” and red means “ fever”. It also beeps at completion and when you press the button for options or temperature taking. I like the fact that it’s quick as can be at 8 seconds where trying to take the temperature in an infant or toddler may never seem short enough if they are sick and fussy. This one does work better than ear thermometer because it’s always be difficult to get our kids to stay still for those. This works extremely well and is fast. It does come we a few protective coverings that are really thin however and can sometimes tear. These coverings are to prevent the spread of germs . The thermometer itself only comes with about 3 to 5 coverings and I would not mind paying a little more to get more probe protectors with the thermometer. It’s a hassle to discover there is only three then to go to the store and buy more. It should also note that they are included in the box covering to expect to look for them as they are small and fell in the floor. I was not expecting them until the instructions noted them and I looked around and found them. Other then that the thermometer work very well and is efficient in getting the temperature when it’s needed.
