[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thermometer is convenient and easy to use. The size is compact and easy to store. The read comes in less than ten seconds. It can be used orally or rectally.
The display is color coded in red, yellow, and green for a temperature insight.

Does it’s basic job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So let me start this off by stating that this thermometer does its job. It tells you your child’s (or self) temperature. My gripe and reason for only giving it four stars is that it advertises the color changing/coding based on the temperature read, well it does not change colors once the temperature is complete. The only time it shows the color is once it is turned off and on and you can see the last temperature taken and that color code.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Reliable

With 3 Toddlers passing the same cold back and forth, the battery is holding strong let's just say, lol! It's extremely accurate, fast, and the color code display allows my children to tell out to me when it's done what color, make something miserable a little more tolerable. I highly recommend this product.

Works Every Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mom has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the doctor wants us to take her temperature on a daily basis, I wanted to use a thermometer with a name that I grew up with and trust and that's why I went with the Vicks thermometer. This Thermometer is extremely fast for a reading and also glows colors to let you know if you have a fever. I have not had any problems with this Thermometer and have used daily for almost a month now and every time a accurate reading. I would Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a trusted brand that truly works.

Easy to read screen and fast readout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vick’s Speed Read Thermometer with Fever Insight is a nice, easy to read thermometer. The thermometer has a large screen to show the temperature readings. There is a rubber around the readout screen making it easy to hold. The thermometer reading is super quick (8 seconds or less). The quick readings are so helpful when you have small kids. I tested the thermometer against another I gave and there is only a .2 difference so it seems to be pretty accurate. This thermometer can read in Fahrenheit or Celsius. I chose to have mine set to Fahrenheit because it’s what I use more often. The thermometer comes with a plastic case to help protect it from getting broken. This thermometer has a feature called fever insight where the screen changes color to indicate an ok, mild or high fever. I did test the thermometer in hot water. It did read out high with red but did not give me a specific temperature. I know that when the display is red, the temperature is at least 101.5. Overall this thermometer is easy to read, has nice features, and has a super fast read out. I definitely recommend trying this thermometer.

We're experiencing colds in our home right now and this is a great way to monitor whether you have a cold or a fever. It has a smart technology that makes it easy for you to keep on top of your health. It also, reads your temperature quickly, includes a carrying case and a battery.

A well put together thermometer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking on the market for a good thermometer for my son, we have one that does the forehead thing and its wayyy off. My son is only 4 and doesnt understand that the reader needs to be under the tongue. I decided to take a gamble on this one due to some of the functions such as showing the colored lights for fevers green good yellow mild red hot. It does pretty good at giving accurate temp reading especially not being under the tongue. I tried it out on myself with constant movement in my mouth to kinda of replicate what my son would do and compared it to what you should do and it was pretty accurate not on point but not far off.

Fast & Easy To Use

The 8 second reading is very fast and I like the fever insight feature that tells you if the temperature is in the OK, mild or high range. There is also a memory recall feature that tells the last temperature reading. This is a great addition to my medicine cabinet!
