[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this!! It showed up right as all 5 kids were getting sick including my newborn. I've had issues in the past of thermometers giving different answers every time I use it but this one is spot on with the doctors. So easy and simple to use and fast. As a single mother of 5 I need ease and simplicity in my life and this surely gives it to me!

Great for a house full of kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living the the midwest, common cold and flu season never ends. Can't tell you how many times they have a fever. With the temperature color coded seems like the kids don't mind seeing if they have a fever. Pretty cool idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where was this thermometer when I needed one that gave the correct temperature? All the others that I have used for my family have been garbage. Either they were inaccurate each and every time or they just died. With the cost of the batteries it was cheaper to buy new ones. This Vicks thermometer came in handy when my little one had the flu. I was even able to check her temperature in her sleep! Thank you for making life easier with a simple idea of color coding the temperatures so moms like myself won't have to worry as much.

Great feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm in love. The thermometer only takes about 30 seconds to tell me when my child's temperature is. This comes in handy with a squirmy kiddo. The color light is amazing as well before u can even see the number temperature you can tell if your child has a fever or not. So amazing!

Great Innovative Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. Taking a temperature has never got easier. The Vicks Speed Read Thermometer with Fever Insight is one of the fastest and best thermometers I have ever used. Other ones take too long while the forehead scanner is usually inaccurate in my opinion. This one only takes 8 seconds to get your reading while also having a color coded display. Green means no fever, yellow means elevated temperature and red indicates a fever. My daughter loves this feature and it makes her want to take her temperature to see what color she’s at. Usually I have to chase her around the house so that alone makes it worth it. It is also waterproof which makes cleaning a breeze. It can be used orally, rectally, or under the arm making it versatile to the situation.
I would highly recommend the Vicks Speed Read Thermometer, it’s a great product with innovative features.

It lets you know when your temperature is high or low with different colors with the colors of red green and yellow so you will know for a fact if it's good or somewhat High or really high. I like how small it is. I like that the numbers is big on it. My kids like it too because they know by the colors if they temperature is good or not regardless if they understand the number they still will be able to know by the color. I give this product A 10!!!!!!!!!!!
