Allergies & Dog Fur...

We have a small home, but I have mold allergies and my husband has seasonal allergies. Plus, we have a small dog who is extremely furry and likes to leave that fur all over the house!
We installed a new air conditioning unit when we moved in 5 years ago and have been religious about changing the filters with Purple Filtrete Ultra Allergen filters every three months and they are dirty as anything, but they keep the conditioner running smoothly and the air clean and breathable for us and the pup!

Filtrete AC Filters

This is the very best AC filter I have ever used. I have multiple allergies & asthma. After a few weeks of use, pulled filter out & amazed to see what all it had picked (sucked)up. It was truly amazing.
I have been using these filters for a year now, and would never use another kind again. I am an RN, and have recommended these spectacular filters to everyone I know.
I do not know why I just found these filters a year ago. I can guarantee, for anyone to sample or use these filters for 6 months or more, will never go back to their old filters again!!
My hat and backing definitely go to the Filtrete Company (3M) for their production of these filters.

We have been using the Filtrete 14 x 25 x 1 for years now. We had been using competitors' filters but once we found Filtrete we were sold. The difference in our air is noticeable if it's approaching the 3 month period. Once we put in that fresh new filter we are in heaven for the next 3 months. We both have severe allergies and one of us has asthma and the filter, combined with us running the air conditioning or furnace fan around the clock keeps our condo feeling like hospital clean air. Oh, I forgot to mention that numerous people on our floor have pets so there is always dander and pet odors floating around in the hallway air, and it's always bound to creep underneath our door into our unit. Our Filtrete takes aim immediately and wipes it out! Previously we used the 1700 rating but have since upgraded to the 1900 Ultimate Allergen product when it came on the market. We're Filtrete users for life. Now if only our furnace accepted standard sized filters! We have to cut a little bit off the outside of the filter in order to slip it in tightly. But that's not Filtrete's fault - it's the fault of the previous home owner's furnace installers! ;-) Thank you, Filtrete!

Filtrete Advanced Allergen Reduction Air Filters

We have been using Filtrete Air Filters in our newly built home since we bought it 4-1/2 years ago. As we have two dogs, we change the furnace filter regularly every three months. Our experience with Filtrete has been uniformly top-notch. The Filtrete filters fit well and perform well. We would not consider using any other brand.

After switching to this premium filter about 1 year ago, I have found that it is well worth the extra cost. It has significantly cut down on dust in the house and improved the air quality in our house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can actually "smell" the difference!

I have extremely bad allergies AND I have two dogs. My sense of smell is extreme; so much so that I can tell a big difference when I put in a new Filtrete filter. I have used the Maximum Allergen 1700 for about 7 years. I change the filters about every 2 1/2 to 3 months.
