causes respiratory problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 1900 mpr filters and installed them. After a half hour of operation, I found breathing difficult and noticed a strange odor. Are these filters treated with some chemical? Not happy, considering the price of the filter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic Product!!

Everyone in my family has allergies, and we have so much fewer problems since we started using these filters. Also, our house is 65 years old, so we have a lot of dust, but Filtrete takes care of it and tremendously reduces the frequency and amount of dusting we need to do.
