easy to use - love it

I use this to keep track of my monthly expenses....what I estimate to pay on utilities versus actual bill. It allows me to see trends during the year and remember when annual and semi-annual bills will be coming due. Very well made and a nice size to have. highly recommend it for simple debit and credit entries and for when you want to do a column each for budgeted actual and difference on the entries.

This is the perfect ledger for my business. It's easy to keep track of expenses and with high liters I color code the expenses into categories so it's a snap to get things ready for my accountant.

Just what I was looking for

It seems it keeps getting more and more difficult to get paper items of this type. We are old-fashioned and still keep a checkbook register and balance the check even though we pay many of our bills online. These work really well for keeping track of everything. Here's hoping they keep making these Staples keeps carrying them.

I bought this book because I have been using the same one for years and i love it. It is very good quality and the cover of my old book has held up perfectly . I ran out of room in my old book so I didn't hesitate to buy the same one again.

Great for Tracking Finances

My wife prefers to keep track of her clients through a more hands-on system. This three columnar book gives her enough space to write the transaction purpose and track debits credits and totals. It is easier to have a book that is similar to a checkbook to track finances. It has lots of rows per page and enough room to full describe each transaction. If two lines are needed then the format can accommodate that also. There are enough pages that she can either keep a running total or can have a summary set of pages and also a page for each client. It is very flexible and does require having access to a computer.

Great little ledger

I use these ledgers instead of check book registers. They last about a year or so and are easy to reconcile.
