I'm sure this tape is strong and long lasting but I didn't measure how wide "extra wide" was with my current tape gun. That is the only reason I returned it. In retrospect I don't see the need for "extra wide"--a thicker mil should do the trick when you tape your box correctly.

This tape was so bad I flew to Shanghai to spend 10 Yuan on a roll of tape that was 2.5 inches in distance. Who the hell comes up with 2.7777 repeating.
