Works very well

This hole punch takes up less space than many others and works just as well. It is simple enough for a child to use and makes a simple job out of putting loose school papers in three-ring binders.
There was something wrong with this hole puncher. The paper had to be inserted exactly right or the center hole wouldn't punch. Sometimes the paper won't go in all the way and the holes come out in the wrong positions. I should have returned it but I didn't.
The item works well. It would have been nice to have some directions. It seems that a warning about the plastic bag is more important than directions. Didn't know whether to pull plastic keepers out or not. Kind of discovered the reservoir for the chads. Still uncertain as to how to adjust the spacing.

Compact size easy to use economical; difficult to empty.
It was extremely difficult to punch thru15 sheets of paper. Also it was quite heavy. I probably won't use it that much as it is not that easy to use.

One un-fixable design flaw

This punch is really nice and works very well EXCEPT that the holes it punches are a little close to the edge of the page which makes it easy to accidentally tear the pages when they're being turned in a ring binder. Unfortunately that feature is not adjustable (I don't think I've ever seen a punch where it was adjustable.) People who buy this punch should also stock up on those little reinforcements for the punched holes; you're going to need them.
